Parent & Family Engagement Plan

The mission of Wrightsboro Elementary School is to establish and promote a caring, engaging, and supportive environment that enhances learning and leadership for all.
Every family can expect meaningful two-way communication between the home and school. At Wrightsboro we:
- Send home a weekly family newsletter
- Weekly emails, social media, Class Dojo
- Update staff website
- Offer family liaison services for translation
- Host family conferences
- Host family/curriculum nights
We provide opportunities for our parents and families to access support and resources that will assist them in developing parenting strategies that support their child(ren)’s successful educational experience.

Families play an integral role in assisting student learning and we are committed to equipping our parents and guardians with the information, resources, and involvement necessary to support student learning at home. Families can expect to:

We welcome our parents and guardians at school and we seek your support and assistance in a variety of ways:
- Volunteer training

We value the input and participation of our parents and guardians when it comes to making decisions that affect our students and their families. Therefore, these opportunities are provided to our parents and guardians:
- Invite families to join PTO (up to 63 families from 12)
- Invite families to be on SIT
- MTSS, 504, and IEP Meetings
At Wrightsboro we strive to support our parents and guardians with training that will increase their knowledge and ability to access important information regarding their child’s education.
